Why Invisible & Visible Church Distinction is Wrong

One typical way some Christians view the Church is between the visible and invisible Church. With the invisible being the true believers, and the visible church being a mix between both true believers and hypocrites.

The main reason as to why the distinction between visible and invisible church is wrong is due to the fact that true and hypocritical Christians are part of both a visible and invisible aspect of the covenant. Since hypocrites are part of this invisible aspect as well, (they will receive the punishments for covenant disobedience) the distinction logically breaks down and becomes less clear. Which has given rise to a sort of platonic dualism where the material is bad, and the spiritual is good.
