1. Proverbs 3.1-10:
- Odd verses: outline of a godly character.
- Even verses: draws attention to the outcomes
1. Proverbs 3.5-6 Hebrew Word Study:
- 5- Don't try to become self-reliant, not your goal.
- The call to follow God, despite at times when things are hard
1. LORD-YHWY, not to trust in a general higher power, not just leaning on a god, but the God of heaven and earth. The LORD almighty.
verse 6
- acknowledge - keep him in mind, references The Book of Proverbs - Chapters 1-15
- Live in a way were both body and soul are trusting on God. No self-reliance.
- The outcome- making straight your paths,'
  - Intensive form of the verb, not just going to become, or to simply be straight, but God will make your paths straight as you lean on hi.
  - It is not describing a smooth or easy path in life, free from hardships, but rather a life that is righteous, morally straight (good), and ultimately worthwhile.
