Tim Keller Talk on the Missional Church Today
- People do not see the Church as a family, but as something to consume. People do not leave their families every other year, or every other month.
- The Church can not identify itself as opposition to other Churches. But rather should defined themselves over the world.
- This is partly because society is post-Christian and do not really understand these differences. It seems to them like needless infighting, or just negative in general. (This is not an argument to do away with theological orthodoxy, but rather messaging in mission work)

- Small town Church (cared more about the pastoral care than the preaching| Pastoral care precedes the preaching)
- Big City, many experts, we go to experts (preaching precedes the pastoral care)
- There are many, many, MANY, loving communities. Why should people come and adopt your beliefs? You need to answer WHY.
